Ejaye McComb for Councillor

Township of Georgian Bluffs

Your voice at the council table. Vote online or by phone October 16–25, or in person until 8:00 PM on October 26.

I've called Georgian Bluffs home for 17 years. Appointed to Council in 2025, I've spent the past year learning the job from the inside: reading every report, asking the hard questions, and taking your calls. On October 26, I'm asking you to make it official.

As your councillor, I will:

Listen.

I'll treat every concern as legitimate and get back to you with an answer or a plan.

Solve.

Twenty years of solving hard problems for a living has taught me how to turn a complaint into a workable plan on a limited budget.

Make informed decisions.

I do the homework. Reading every report and asking great questions.

Be accountable.

I will represent you. I will discuss my position. I will tell you how I voted and why, on anything you ask.

My Priorities

Georgian Bluffs has good plans. Now they need to be carried out. These are the four things I'll hold myself to.

Transparency.

I will continue to represent you with a consultative approach and you will always get a straight answer from me, in plain language, on anything council decides.

Every dollar accounted for.

Ontario municipalities are being asked to do more with a tax base the province hasn't allowed to keep up. I'll chase outside grant dollars before I ask you for more, and I'll always explain the real trade-off behind a budget decision, not just the number.

Supporting all residents.

Responsibly providing quality services in infrastructure to support our local businesses and farms must be a priority. Maintaining a healthy population and promoting recreation for all ages are why families and retirees choose to stay in Georgian Bluffs. Protecting the environment benefits us all.

Working with our neighbours.

Shared services and regional cooperation with our neighbours are the best tools we have for lowering costs without lowering service.

Meet Ejaye

Husband. Father. Community-minded avid volunteer.

My family put down roots in Georgian Bluffs 17 years ago because we wanted to raise our kids somewhere that still believes in hard work, integrity, and looking out for your neighbour.

Since then I've served on numerous boards, including CMHA Grey Bruce, Minor Hockey, Minor Soccer and, most recently, Georgian Bluffs Council. If there's a cause I can help with, I jump in.

Professionally, I spent two decades in technology and telecom operations, and now run my own advisory practice. Solving complicated problems for a living is my day job, and I want to bring that same discipline to council.

Why I'm running

Council appointed me in October 2025 to fill a vacant seat, and I was sworn in that November. As your councillor, I am prepared and I am collaborative. I have a nearly perfect attendance record, and I bring hard work and preparation to every meeting.

We have real pressures: aging roads and bridges, growth, and the cost of living. None of them are going away, but I'm optimistic. Georgian Bluffs has what it takes, and the decisions made over the next four years will shape where we end up.

I don't run to be somebody. I'd rather be the one who shows up and helps get things done.

Questions

Are you a current councillor?

Yes. Council appointed me in October 2025 to fill a vacant seat, and I was sworn in on November 5, 2025. On October 26, I'm asking voters to make it official.

Why were you appointed?

A seat became vacant when Ryan Thompson stepped down to become the Township's CAO, and Council filled it by appointment. Of 15 applicants, I was chosen by council to join the team.

How do I vote?
